Get in Touch with Breath and Tap

Have a question about one of our reviews? Want to suggest a product for testing? Or maybe you've spotted an error in our data? We'd love to hear from you. Breath and Tap is a small operation run by Cole Reyes here in Miami, and we read every message that comes through.

How to Reach Us

The best way to contact the Breath and Tap team is via email at [email protected]. Whether you're a reader with feedback, a manufacturer with questions about our testing methodology, or a fellow reviewer looking to compare notes, this is your direct line to our desk.

What We Welcome

We're particularly interested in hearing about:

  • Product suggestions: If there's an air purifier, water filter, dehumidifier, or smart thermostat you'd like to see put through real-world testing in Miami's coastal humidity, let us know.

  • Technical questions: Curious about our particle counters, water quality meters, or decibel measurement equipment? Ask away.

  • Corrections: We take accuracy seriously. If you've found an error in our testing data or written content, please point it out.

  • Reader experiences: Have you tested the same product in different conditions? We love comparing notes with other real-world users.

  • Media inquiries: Journalists and podcasters interested in discussing environmental appliance testing are welcome to reach out.

What We Don't Cover

To set expectations clearly, Breath and Tap does not accept:

  • Paid reviews or sponsored content placements

  • Press releases requesting verbatim publication

  • Requests to remove negative reviews in exchange for compensation

  • Product samples sent without prior arrangement (we purchase our own test units to maintain independence)

Comparison of viral mini desktop purifier and genuine HEPA desktop purifier after 30-minute smoke test, particle counter reads 1,780 vs 48, proving the viral unit ineffective.

Response Time

We typically respond to emails within 2-3 business days. During active testing periods—especially during Miami's brutal summer months when we're running multiple dehumidifiers and air purifiers simultaneously—it might take up to a week. If your inquiry is time-sensitive, please mention that in your subject line.

About Collaboration

While breathandtap.com maintains strict editorial independence, we're open to certain types of collaboration. If you're a university researcher studying indoor air quality, a fellow independent reviewer interested in methodology sharing, or a standards organization working on testing protocols, we're happy to discuss potential partnerships that don't compromise our testing integrity.

Location Note

Breath and Tap operates out of Miami, Florida. Our testing environment includes the unique challenges of coastal humidity, salt air, and subtropical climate conditions. If you're reaching out about products specifically designed for similar environments, we're especially interested in hearing from you.

We're Here to Help

At the end of the day, Breath and Tap exists to help people make informed decisions about the environmental appliances they bring into their homes. If you have a question, concern, or idea that can help us serve that mission better, don't hesitate to reach out to [email protected]. Real testing means real conversations, and we're here for both.
